This policy describes what information Marin Private Schools ("we," "us") collects when you use www.marinprivateschools.com, and how we use it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't sell personal information, and you can ask us to delete what we have.
Information you give us. When you contact us, request information from a school, or create a school admin account, we collect what you submit: name, email address, and the content of your message. Saved favorites and comparison lists are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical data: browser type, pages visited, and approximate region. It is used in aggregate to understand how the guide is used and to improve it.
We use what we collect for three things:
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not run third-party advertising networks; sponsorships that appear on the site (always labeled) receive no personal data about you.
This site is for parents, guardians, and educators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You may request a copy or deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time by writing to office@marinprivateschools.com. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and correct.
We'll post any changes to this policy here with an updated date. Questions? Contact us.
