Alpha Kids Academy

We are a preschool and childcare center in Novato for children ages 4 months to 6 years, offering infant, toddler and preschool programs.

Ch. 1

The Story

We are dedicated to fostering a love of learning in every child as well as supporting their growth in areas such as language development, social skills, and cognitive abilities. Our low teacher-to-student ratio allows individualized attention and strong, trusting relationships with each child.

We partner with parents through open communication, updates and strategies for each family. We work with families to make potty training supportive and welcome children at all stages of this journey.

Ch. 2

A School Day

Our sample preschool schedule varies by age and location. It includes circle time, music and movement, learning centers, arts and crafts, science and afternoon extracurricular activities alongside outdoor play, meals and rest.

Arrival

Preschool children are dropped off and begin the day with imaginative play.

Snack

Morning snack or breakfast before circle time.

Outside

Outside play time runs for an hour in the morning.

Lunch

Lunch runs from 12:00 to 12:20 pm.

Rest

Nap time runs until 2:30 pm and varies by age.

Pickup

Story time and closing circle end the day at go home time.

Ch. 3

Programs

We offer full-time Monday through Friday, part-time Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and part-time Tuesday/Thursday schedules, with or without extended care. The schedule without extended care ends at 3:30 pm. Our school hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Infant Care

We provide a warm, caring environment and help children prepare for preschool and kindergarten.

The Campus

Our Child Care center has a friendly and warm environment conducive to learning. Cleanliness and security is a top priority for our facility.

Enrichment

At Alpha Kids we believe it is very important to include extracurricular activities into our curriculum. Those activities include music, science, sports. Just as important as academics they help children to develop their social skills and learn how to work in a team setting.

Admissions

At Alpha Kids Academy, we’ve set out to streamline the standard admissions process.

Tours

Private in-person tours are available by phone appointment. We recommend touring a year before enrollment.

ii.

Age to enroll

Our Transitional Kindergarten supports four- and five-year-olds with late birthdays.

iii.

Application

We enroll year-round based on availability, on a first-come, first-served basis.
