The Story
Our goal is to provide a loving and stimulating environment which encourages a child to grow intellectually, to interact appropriately with peers and adults, and to exhibit respect for himself and others.
It is the Philosophy of Golden Poppy Preschool that children who feel safe, comfortable, and respected will exhibit a natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
Golden Poppy isn’t just a Preschool Corte Madera or just schools for infants, we are a community. Every child who walks through our doors becomes part of our extended family. We celebrate their milestones, support their transitions, and cherish their growth.
Director Joanie Deksnys writes, "I am proud to have had both of my sons graduate from Golden Poppy and be able to step so seamlessly into grade school. Consistent support and guidance between home and school provide the ideal environment for our children to thrive and become caring, inquisitive, young adults."
