The Story
The heart of Harmony is to make a positive impact on society by nurturing children to be kind, respectful, responsible, and contributing members of their community. Our program provides an environment that is wholly nurturing and respectful to the child; each child is valued individually and is free to learn independently at their own pace. Harmony Montessori invites children to develop a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Wilana Anderson started Harmony in 2004 out of her home in Sausalito when her daughter Paige was 9 months old.
At Harmony, our teaching team brings together a vibrant mix of expertise, from AMI Montessori and Waldorf Early Childhood training, to advanced degrees at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level. There are also herbalists, outdoor educators, musicians, and artists, grounding their teaching in real-world craft and creativity.
Harmony is a place where children grow into capable, kind, and curious people, supported by families who share a commitment to simplicity, health, and connection.
