The Story
We provide a safe, secure, creatively prepared learning environment through play. Our approach draws on Piaget's play-based learning, Montessori's development of self in relation to family and community, Waldorf's nature and simple surroundings, Erikson's trust, autonomy and initiative, and Reggio Emilia's aesthetic beauty and project approach. We prepare children socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively for formal schooling.
We support the entire family unit and strive to help families meet the challenges of raising their children. Our teachers stay current with research on brain development, literacy, language acquisition and numeracy learning.
