Our small classes leave room for personal attention

We offer preschool programs with enrichment every day through storytelling, music, and art.

Ch. 1

The Story

Our goal at Marinwood Preschool is to provide a safe and stimulating preschool experience, and help prepare children for their eventual kindergarten education.

We realize that some children may move more slowly in the process of separating from parents. In these cases, we happily welcome the presence of those parents in the classroom. Our teachers create a warm and nurturing environment and our goal is for the children to be comfortable and reach their full creative and social potential.

Ch. 2

A School Day

Our Morning School rhythm includes free play and craft at 9:45, patio time at 10:30 and circle time at 11:00.

Children have lunch time; families pack a snack and lunch each day.

Programs

All the preschool classes are small in numbers, allowing for personal attention and a calm environment as children move through the early years of learning.

Parent and Toddler Together Time

This class is a great opportunity to introduce young children to a classroom environment, meet new friends, explore wonderful new toys, create a work of art and share a short musical or story circle time.

Morning School

Morning School meets the developmental needs for three and four-year olds with a thriving environment to play and explore.

Ages3 years to 4 years 6 months

DaysMonday-Thursday, 3 or 4 Day Options: MTWTh, MTW, TWTh, MTTh

Ch. 4

The Campus

Tucked away in quiet Marinwood, located off freeway 101 between Terra Linda and Ignacio, is the Marinwood Community Center.

In addition to the open space and picnic areas, pool and playground, the Community Center offers a variety of programs for everyone.

Ch. 5

Enrichment

Our optional Early Pre-K program for four-year-old Morning School students builds literacy, math, fine motor, problem-solving and social skills. It begins in October, meets Mondays and Wednesdays 9:00-9:30am, and uses monthly sign-up.

Possible visiting enrichments may include the animal, insect, yoga, circus and music presentations listed below; offerings are examples and may vary.

Early Pre-K Enrichment$10 per day

Monthly tuition is due the 1st business day of each month and will be automatically charged. There is no prorating for absences. Tuition is non-refundable. Monthly tuition payment is based upon the number of school days per month.
