The Story
We provide a carefully planned environment for lifelong creative thinking and learning. Our Prepared Environment allows children to learn at their own pace and capacity in a noncompetitive atmosphere, developing order and self-discipline. Our goals include self-esteem, concentration, curiosity, initiative, persistence, sensory-motor skills and socially acceptable behavior.
Our schools were established in Ross in 1966. Our Mill Valley school was opened in 1971.
Many of our staff members have been with us for years. All our classes are taught by teachers holding Montessori certificates.
