The Story
At San Marin Montessori, we believe every child is born with a natural desire to learn, explore and grow with confidence. Our philosophy is centered on respect for the child, nurturing independence, and allowing children the freedom to grow within loving limits. We honor each child’s individuality, celebrate their strengths, and support their emotional and social development alongside academics.
Our classroom feels more like a home away from home than a traditional preschool, carefully prepared with beautiful, hands-on Montessori and Waldorf materials.
San Marin Montessori Preschool was founded in 1995 by Magali Zimmermann with the idea to "Help Children Become All They Can Become."
Our directress Magali writes, "I am a graduate from St. Nicholas College for the Montessori Method of Education in London, England. My mentors and teachers were what are now the most recognized figures in the Montessori world; Margaret Humphrey and Phoebe Child."
San Marin Montessori program is a place where each child is treated as an individual and valuable community member in what is often their first school experience.
