We are a nature-based preschool in San Rafael with a play-based curriculum, outdoor learning, Redwood Trees, Eucalyptus Trees, Willow Trees and a mixed-age summer program.
We use nature and multi-sensory active learning to support whole-child development. In our safe and nurturing environment, children move, play, explore, experiment and solve problems through a nature-focused, play-based curriculum.
Our outdoor classroom experiences encourage physical activity, problem-solving and communication, interest in science and math, cooperative relationships, positive self-esteem and appreciation of nature and environmental stewardship.
Our play-based approach is woven around a variety of mediums, with the give-and-take of child-and-teacher interactive play important in helping children expand their language, cognitive, and social development.

We offer enrichment activities beyond the classroom to enhance children’s development. Our play-based approach includes gardening, nature exploration, Spanish, music circle time, field trips and academic enrichment, along with our family-lending library and book bag program.
